dc.description.abstractThis paper investigates the performances of linked breakwater embedded in VLFS. Performances are examined by carrying out both numerical analysis and model test. Numerical tool to calculate hydroelastic responses of VLFS is developed based on the direct method. Model test are performed in ocean engineering basin of MOERI(Maritime and Ocean Engineering Research Institute). A 500 m-long VLFS with rounded linked breakwater and a VLFS with two-hinged linked breakwater are considered as example structures.-
