dc.description.abstract | The submersible fish cage system with spar buoy have been developed. The spar buoy consists of the compressed air equipment used to improve the control stability of floating and sinking function. Circular and rectangular types submersible fish cages, which were made of HDPE(High Density Polyethylene), have been considered to investigate the difference of the submersible control stability and the hydrodynamic behaviors in waves. A series of model tests has been conducted in order to verify the stability of submersible function and the motion responses in waves at the ocean engineering basin, MOERI/KORDI. Numerical simulation for motion responses of the fish cages has been carried out and the results are compared with those of model tests. | - |
