dc.description.abstract | Second-order motion characteristics of a semisubmersible are investigated in regular waves. Higherorder boundary element method in frequency domain and finite element method in time-domain are applied to numerical analysis of nonlinear hydrodynamic force and motion characteristics of semi-submersibles in scope of potential theory.
