dc.description.abstract | Digital Mock-Up(DMU), which can replace physical prototype with 3D virtual one, makes it possible for ship designers to validate their complex ship design, and also for designers, manufacturers and operators to manage a product together. In this paper, framework of warship design review using DMU is introduced. To do this, design review system including SW/HW, process of DMU generation are analyzed. For realistic virtual environment of design review stage, stereo visualization method, which can help reviewers make right decision with more exact shape and perspective of DMUs, is developed and applied to design review system using DMU. | - |
