dc.description.abstract | In this study, the development of a wave generation simulation program based on High Order Spectral (HOS) method is presented. The HOS approach proves highly efficient for wave simulation, allowing the computation of boundary value problems using the Fast Fourier Transform(FFT) without matrix operations. The program was developed within the MATLAB GUI environment. To generate waves, the Embedded wave generation technique(Liam et al., 2014) incorporating source terms in the free surface boundary condition was employed, enabling the generation of targeted regular and irregular waves. Validation of the program involved comparing the nonlinearity of regular waves, comparing with the commercial code (HAWASII-AB2), and comparing with model tests, all of which confirmed its successful validation. | - |
