dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study was to investigate manoeuvrability of underwater vehicles by free running model tests. For the free running model tests of underwater vehicles, KRISO developed new test systems and procedure of the manoeuvre tests including preparation tasks. This paper describes test preparation, process and results of manoeuvre tests such as turning, zig-zag in surface condition with 1/15 scaled model of the MARIN Joubert BB2 submarine. Depth-keeping tests with the model in submerged condition were also introduced.-
