dc.description.abstract | Regarding maritime digitalization, the field in which research and development is most actively underway, excluding Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships (MASS), is the development of digital services to support ship navigation. Various projects have already been carried out worldwide under the name of e-Navigation, and Korea has also implemented the SMART-Navigation project and put it into practical use. However, because these attempts have yet to secure global compatibility, efforts have recently been made to standardize the service itself, centered around IALA. In Korea, the Global Maritime Digital Route Testbed project, which develops and tests service prototypes for vessels engaged in international navigation, was launched last year for the same reason. The goal of the project, which will run until 2028, is to test global maritime digital routes. In the presentation, I will briefly introduce the status of the project. | - |
