Abstract
The objective of this study was to evaluate the properties of composite materials manufactured by combining a hardener with a glass ball additive. Throughout the research process, the proportion of the glass ball was adjusted, and its effects on curing temperature, viscosity, bubble formation, and fracture behavior were experimentally analyzed. The results indicate that as the glass ball content increased, bubble formation also increased, impacting both viscosity and curing characteristics. These findings provide valuable data for optimizing the buoyancy and density of composite materials. Additionally, tensile and compressive strength measurements were performed and compared with the strength specifications of commercial buoyancy materials, with some specimens demonstrating properties similar to those of commercial counterparts.
