dc.description.abstract | Adsorption desalination (AD) technology uses a low temperature (< 80°C) heat source to simultaneously produce high concentrations of concentrated and fresh water, and operates at low temperatures (< 30°C) and low pressures (< 10 kPa). Therefore, compared to existing seawater desalination technologies (MED, MSF, RO), fouling and scale can be minimized, so it is eco-friendly to minimize the use of chemicals in the pretreatment process. In this study, in order to improve the freshwater production and concentration performance of the adsorption desalination method, a coated heat exchanger was manufactured, performance evaluation was performed, and system design was performed. | - |
