dc.description.abstract | In this study, a study was conducted on the hydrogen embrittlement characteristics of steel used in eco-friendly liquefied hydrogen storage containers. The material used in the test was FCC series stainless steel, which is most commonly used as a storage container material, and BCC series structural steel was used for comparative analysis. An electrochemical charging method was applied to analyze the effect of hydrogen embrittlement on the material, a material testing machine (UTM) was used to analyze changes in mechanical strength and elongation according to hydrogen charging, and a 500kN class CTOD (crack crack) built at KRISO was used. Using a Tip Opening Displacement (TIP) tester, we analyzed the changes in displacement and maximum load due to hydrogen embrittlement. | - |
